NHDA's SHOE DRIVE FOR HAITI (Kim
Frazier, Project Director) was a phenomenal success! The goal was to
collect 1,000 pair of flat shoes to donate to the needy survivors of
the January earthquake in Haiti. We exceeded our goal and collected
nearly 3,000 pairs of shoes! Thanks to the hand dance community and
the community at-large for their support in this public outreach
project.

The NHDA "Nothing But The Oldies, Part 2" fundraiser held on May 22,
2010 at the VFW was a blast! The event celebrated original Hand
Dance and the music of the 1950s, 60s and early 70s. Guest Oldies
DJs included Alan Lee, More Better Man, Ron V and Lady Peaches. The
event raised funds for the NHDA general operating budget. Will there
be a "Nothing But The Oldies, Part 3"? Of course. Stay tuned....
